Tell me again why Palmieri would leave one dumpster fire in NJ (where he's from and has lived for 3+ years) to go to another (arguably worse) one in Detroit?

Finally a somewhat realistic AA trade...kudos.

Those UFA deals are horrid though.

Yeah I tried to get them signed long term bc why not if they have the cap space now. I also assumed they'd be stingy with the contracts

Right, I tried to fill in gaps that they had on the team. Of course no UFA is gonna be cheap

I don't think it's in DETs best interest to overpay in dollars or term for their RFAs while they are rebuilding.

I'd do something like:
Bertuzzi - $4.5m x 3 years
Mantha - $6.5m x 6 years
Fabri - $3m x 2 years
Hronek - $3.75 x 4 years

That is what I'm shoot for at least
