Honestly, a very interesting move. And a good deal for both sides. I know athanasiou is doing horrible but I think a change of scenery would spark his offense. He’s capable of so much more and we know that. Look what happened to Dylan Strome for example

Yes it is. We have a log jam on defense with Miller and Lindqvist coming in the next year or two, and decent prospects like Hajek, Rykov, and Tarmo also on the LHD. Staal is immovable, Skeji is hit or miss most nights... I like this deal. Can throw in Anderson or one of the many D prospects we have as well if needed.

Long term perhaps it's possible for Trouba to move to the left side, so it's something like

Trouba - DeAngelo
Miller - Fox
Lindgren - Lindqvist

There have already been discussions started about moving DeAngelo to the Left. Supposedly played there during his time with Sarnia and felt very comfortable there.

Rykov or Miller (or possibly DeAngelo, who has played Left in the past) can move over. AA can slot in for Kreider after he departs.

It's been said that DeAngelo can play Left. Played that side during his days with Sarnia. No issue.
