This is a major steal for Pittsburgh.

Galchenyuk is expiring on a down season, Bjugstad is a cap dump running through next year. Gagner is a guy put basically swaps out for galchenyuk because they’ve played the same on expiring high contracts. And a 2nd to steal a bit more.

Pens get a stud in Puljujarvi who can become the guy with Crosby or Malkin. See him being perfect if he went there. Khiara is a solid 3rd liner on a decent deal,

As a Pens fan I'd gladly take this deal. Don't know a lot about Khiara. But getting Puljujarvi for next year and a 2nd pick for those guys. I'm sure Rutherford would happily do this deal and then turn around and send that 2nd round pick to LA for Toffoli.

And happily add another 550k in retention on Gal to give EDM a bit more wiggle room. I'm not really concerned with getting Pul or Khiara (will take them mind you...), it's moving that 4.1 in Bjugs with no retention for next year and the 2nd.
