Not really sure who the $$$ or term is. But I do think he probably is slated for centre. Could the Leafs get at 1.8m X 4.

Engvall has never made big money. Does he take guaranteed 7.2m instead of betting on himself and taking a lower 1 or 2 year deal? Only Engvall knows his wants Nothing to do with the agent. The player ultimately decides the term and whether or not he wants to sign.

It's all premature to say anything. Once they are healthy where does he play? 4th line maybe? Perhaps he doesn't score much the remainder the season. 20 games is not enough time to warrant too much overspending

I see $1.5 million × 2. Buys time to see if his size can be utilized on the PP, and if he can play up the lineup. Leafs want a shorter term deal to get that forward payroll in line.

Yes they were but based on reliable forwards on this team...there's not alot of em. Tough decisions are ahead and while the guys you mentioned should get their spots back, someone else will have to sit imo.
