Description
Okay, I’ve more or less (mostly more) had enough of this team’s game of toying with the fan base’s emotions. Guys, you’re not good enough, not this year, as with the last two years. It’s time to focus solely on development, clearing house for draft capital, and tanking. Stan, you’ve reached your end. JC, you are literally only lasting as insurance for a decent lottery pick.

Lehner gets traded because, call me crazy, but how the hell has bowman earned any trust or benefit of the doubt. Plus he said he wouldn’t take a discount and also eluded to testing free agency again despite liking it here. Saad should be moved just to get a 1st and maybe a prospect. Gus, well, just get what you can for him. This team just has to stop pretending. At least for this year......

Don't think Gus can get that return. I'm guessing just a 2nd at this point, maybe 2nd and 4th at best.

Saad trade is a bit of an overpayment by the Pens...which is about the only thing the Hawks would take to move him. That said, Hawks would retain $1M in that kind of deal. Hopefully they can flip Chucky for a 3rd or 4th with retention of 1/2 his cap hit.

I like this Carolina trade but would think we'd have to add a 3rd/4th going back for Bean, or send a prospect out (Fortin, Quenneville), or accept a lesser prospect then Bean. Maybe I'm totally wrong here, but that is my guess.

I’m at the point where I’d settle for a 1st and chucky for Saad. I still believe we could ask for more though.

The Gus trade is more for the idea that Vegas might wanna try and go for it this year. Now I know that Gus isn’t exactly a guy to get you over the hump, but he helps an area needed for the playoffs.

As for the Carolina trade, Reimer being in the trade is the reason why I think we could get bean and a 1st. It’s tough, but mrazek isn’t the guy to win a cup.

I want more then Chucky and a 1st. Chucky doesn't have any real value to the Hawks if they can't flip him for a 3rd or 4th. If they can, then a 1st and 3rd is fair value for Saad. If the Hawks can't flip Chucky then we'll have to overpay to sign him and doubt the Hawks are in a position to do that nor should they...it would be much better just to keep Saad then as Chucky is a noticeable downgrade.
