Lapierre probably. I think he's still on the board at 8.

I don't know there are some steals in this years draft later though.
I think Sokolov will end up being a real solid player.
I don't even think most people have him ranked but he plays well on the ice.

Stützle if available you take him, tho ANA probably takes him at 5 or so if Drysdale is gone, Mysak is good too

not sure of the love for askarov looked terrible in world jrs this year. couldn't keep up with game speed. plus we have a solid goalie prospect in Ukko anyways.

I currently have Alexander Holtz at 8th, but he could easily go in the top 5. Cole Perfetti should be in that range, though I think people generally overrate him and he could be higher. Stutzle might fall that far because GMs are dumb, but he has no business not being top 5 imo.

I think Buffalo would Be very happy with Noel Gunler at 8th.

Idk Lapierre kind of scares the **** out of me. He's had like three serious concussions in his career, and he's only 17. If I'm a team drafting in the early to mid 1st round that's enough to make look at another option. It's not like Lapierre is so much better than guys like Gunler or Mysak who will be on the board.

Yeah he has, but I think he's a better player.
I don't know. It might cost him to slip down the draft board.
But I don't think Mysak or Gunler will be drafted that high. Both guys are probably 15 and below.
It's hard to really put a position on it. Most draft rankings suck. There will be a run on defense like happens every year. It will start early. How early is hard to say.
Things like that knock everyone back. But it's a lot of reaching.
Once you get out the top 4-5 it's kind of anyones guess.

Lundell, Stutzle, Rossi, Raymond, Holtz, Perfetti. I hope that at least one of them gets to #8.

i will hope the opposite, as thats 6 names so if they are all gone i would gladly take Byfield or Lafrenière at 8

guys normally take like 2 or 3 years to develop if they are 1st rounders. eichel is 23 there is lots of time, its more likely a fan revolt than a expiring star we need to worry about.

So I didn’t take into Lafreniere and Byfield, because they will go to top 3, there is still Drysdale, but we need a forward.

i think its pretty safe to just be top 10 this draft. just seems very deep compared to some previous years.

@jonnymc26 I tried doing the same sort of poll you have done on here and it's not letting me. I asked a question and made some options. Just wondering if I was doing something wrong because I kind of feel like an idiot since it's not working.

so, a few things i know about doing the poll. you can only make one per post (team you create) and you cant adjust it after someone votes. but not really sure what your issue is but feel free to send like or elaborate.

I might just be doing it wrong I put my question in the title then my options in the body like this:

Title: Who should we take at 4th overall?
In the body:
Rossi
Perfetti
Drysdale
Other
Then hit submit and a red error message comes up "Polls must include a question and at least two options" which to me the above poll has????

i believe you might be typing it up in wrong place scroll up to where first post should be not where you type messages. you should see options to type in like questions box and option 1,2 and an add options box. if you dont see that something is up.

Ya that's the problem then I don't see those options come up thanks man!
