It took a trade to COL from BOS to get one player his Cup...so why not another iconic player doing the same??
Sounds good- but I just can't see a circumstance where the Rangers move Hank- unless he is having a change of heart- he has been clear that he wants to stay through the rebuild...and as far as COL- without even breaking down the value of this trade...don't think they are looking to move big assets for a rental or to generate a "win now" window...they do have enough high end talent in their prospects to do this (and still have a long contention window)- but I think their management is more about setting up that long window of contention than moving any of their top 5 prospects and/or top pick in a package involving a rental.

I don't know if goaltending is that big a need that they would spend anything to get Lundquist at this point. Even if he wants to move, which he doesn't seem to.
I still think Kreider would make a lot of sense, probably for a second and either Jost or a pretty good prospect (not Bowen Byram).
