Similar project (Dahlen, Andersson) or a depth Dman along in package with Cody Ceci.

I value him as like a third, but he's not quite as desirable as a third for most teams, bc most teams have enough wing depth, like to ANA he has almost no value bc he's just stuck behind so many other players and doesn't have that high of a ceiling, like you have to find a team that needs depth on the wing, then you'll get around a third (maybe a bit more) in return for him (or something of = value, leafs probably aren't interested in picks)

He should be the main piece to get a solid back up or a lesser piece in a package for a top 4 rhd

AHL players with little chance of being NHLers seems to be lots of ink on this site. McCarron, Sikura and this year Bracco. Does it matter at all if it's 3rd rounder or 7th rounder?

He'll be 23 in a couple months and has yet to play an NHL game, he has very little value. I doubt you'd get a 3rd for him, the best way to extract any value from him is using him as a sweetener in a trade to get something you need.

AHL swap?

It doesn't help him his numbers in the AHL this year are poor. He's suppose to be a scoring winger, he's got 3 goals.
I'm sorry at 5 foot nothing if you are only scoring 3 goals at the AHL level your odds of playing at the pro level are 0.
You might be another AHL guy who needs a change of scene maybe.

Bracco has dominated the AHL on the scoring side of the game at a relatively young age he has never had the chance to play a top 6 role in the NHL on the Leafs. In my opion he is still a top 5 prospect on the leafs. I can see a team like Det or Ottawa looking at him. So to me its a hight 3rd or late 2nd but i cant see the leafs wanting picks. The easiest and most likley trade scenario would be a team deal a pending UFA for him. Low risk for non playoff team team yet value for a playoff team

You arent getting anything like that for a guy who is about to see his ELC expire with zero NHL games

Its just an easy deal to make if ur the Leafs. Addressing his value as far as picks go is useless from the Leafs point of view. Leafs will be looking for depth/rental players as the trade deadline comes and Bracco plays into that situation nicely. Team trades a pending UFA for Bracco and a late pick. He then plays NHL games for that team as a tryout if u will.

Yes the question was what do the leafs think his value is? I think the leafs value him around a 3rd. I agree that the leafs wont get that for him but again i think thats how they have him valued. That would be why i stated it doesnt make sense in a trade for picks. But a team with a pending ufa would be crazy not to ask for Bracco if the leafs called. Its such an easy trade to make for both sides

Leafs have no qualms in trading Bracco. He hasn't shown he NHL good to placed in a Leaf lineup. The question is does any other NHL team that he has a shot of being an NHLer? Just saying it's not such an easy trade as you say. If the Leafs have trade deal with let's say Carolina, and the Leafs have go sweeten the deal with an prospect, Carolina may just balk at having Bracco included, they might want some other player.

He's a sweetener in a trade, not the main haul.

He's a throw in to sweeten a deal, but on his own 3rf at the most (that's if a team views him as top 9 winger) more likely a 4/5 rnd pick. Leafs have no real expectation of a valuable return on Bracco alone
