That’s a no from B’s. Swap Urho for Zboril...maybe. Don’t need another left shot wing though. Rather have Kreider if they did.

Here is how it has to be looked at.
Georgiev for Bracco. Both players have no spot in teams future. Skjei for Kapanen and a 1. At this point, don’t know what value Lias has unfortunately. That is a 3. Only way to make it more “fair” is to have Toronto adding a future 2nd. Skjei maybe needs different coaching. Kapanen is 23 and is a 45 pt player. Hopefully he grows into a 60 pt player but with NYR, he will have more of a chance to have a bigger role than in Toronto.

I was going to complain about this, but getting rid of Skjei would be worth it.
How bout the 3rd becomes a 2nd? Or have it be conditional.

Definitely an interesting trade with TOR...but too many unknowns for it to really happen. Lias- who knows what he is...Bracco- career AHLer?...Skjei- what is he in a REAL NHL D system?

I guess- as mentioned above- if you drop the 1st and Andersson the trade has more potential- but the CAP implications for TOR might make the whole thing not worth their while...they are extremely top heavy as is- Skjei's contract might just be a burden they wont want to further complicate their salary structure.

Are you really a Rangers fan? Georgiev for Bracco? Georgiev would be the starting goalie for many NHL teams, Bracco is under sized (5'9) and has 3 goals in the AHL this season. Not sure if the Rangers trade Georgiev because if Lundqvist retires at the end of the season, Georgiev has a big spot in the teams future. But if Gorton does trade Georgiev, I assure you the Rangers will get back in trade much more than an undersized AHLer with very little chance of making it in the NHL.

Here’s the thing, Mats Zuccarello is 5’9 185. Bracco had 80 pts in the AHL last season. I am not there but yes he has 3 goals this year. Is it possible he is working more on his defensive game? I don’t know. I know there’s times where an NHL coach would tell the AHL coach “if this player wants to come to the NHL, he needs to work on this. “ hockey DB says he is 5”11 and elite prospects says he is 5”9.

Rangers will receive offers of a 1st round pick and a much better prospect than Puljujarvi in exchange for Kreider, without having to give up a 3rd round pick. Skjei is playing very well and NYR has no one else to play top pair Left-D. Lindgren (with his style of play) needs to fill out a little more over the next year or two before he can consistently put up top pair ice time minutes "every game". Hajek and Rykov are not anywhere near ready being able to defend against the opponents top line players. Miller and all other prospects are at least a year or two away from playing in the NHL. Rangers would have to replace Skjei with a top line D-man if he were traded, which would offset any cap hit savings by trading him.

Imo TOR trade is too much in TOR's favor, but they still probably decline due to monetary reasons.

EDM trade is ok, although Holland has already made it clear that he's not moving 2020 1st.

BOS trade is a no from both. BOS don't need Buchnevich that much and NYR isn't getting that much for him.

Who knows, who cares... Bracco is undersized and lets just say he has things to work out before ever becoming an NHLer. Georgiev is already an NHL starting goalie who's play is trending towards improvement as his career advances.

one has the potential to be a starting goalie, while the other has top 6 winger potential. the starting goalie is more valuable. kapenen is middle 6 winger, with an average defensive game, but can score 20 goals. is rfa in a year or 2. skjei is 6'3 left shot puck moving D with good offensive potential. i'd say its pretty equal, but considering that D is a need for the leafs, the rangers should up the price. lias will never be an elite offensive player, but at his age, and his potential, he can blow up. i don't think he's a bust, and his potential right now imo is higher than pujlarvi. a late 1st is alright, but doesnt balance out the trade because of the potential that the rangers are giving away. i mean you're gifting them a potential 2nd line center and potential starting goalie. goalies are tough to find

Leafs really don't need Skjei, concentrate on a Georgeiuv deal with th Leafs. Rangers should stop dreaming about getting a lottery pick from Edmonton. Top contenders and pick in the mid 20 to 31 might be interested in Kreider.

The Oilers would be total morons to trade their 2020 1st for a rental like Kreider, even for guys like Tatar and Palmieri who have an extra year of term it's not worth it for them imo.
