If he play like he did the 4 first game he will. He still very efficient and at 700000 a year its a perfect fit for a lot of team who does not have space under the cap

He is one point per game and he is back on track. He is one of the best now. Let the offer and demand decide.

Personally I hoped the sharks would sign him but I thought he wanted to go to a contender, maybe this was his solution to prove himself then go to one

His creteria was to play at least 18 minutes on the top 3 lines. Mtl was the only team to offer him that.

VGK trade is ridiculous. Absolutely 0 chance they give a 1st and Glass for Petry.

Kovy will be sought after enough to warrant what would be a "late" 2nd rounder. No question. His deal with Bergevin might be that he gets to call his destination, which might reduce the auction price.

I like Petry, but the Habs have fleeced Vegas once for Suzuki, there's no way in Hell that the Knights are giving up Glass, too. And a 1st on top of that?!!! Won't happen. I wish it would, but it won't.

I was lmao when I wrote it. I agree with all of you. But Petry would surely be a great asset for Vegas playoff run.

Wait. Please explain to me how trading Jeff Petry and Nate Thompson with salary retention gets Montreal a Vegas 1st & Cody Glass. Is there something I am missing? Did Kelly McCrimmon lose a hand of Texas Hold’em to Marc Bergevin?
