Not enough from Toronto, Bracco and the 2nd get you Georgiev.

Kapanen wouldnt be enough to pull strome.

Id do it, but how can I be assured that Strome would continue to produce without Panarin?

Both guys have their right wingers and I dont see fit for Strome on LW. If I would get him Im getting a 3C.. which Im not too sure he can do but its definitely worth the try. I like it. Just unsure whether or not Strome can sustain production but even if he lowers to like 0.5 ppg on that position Id do it.

It's a pretty fair trade. IMO, I kinda think the Leafs have to add (I don't think Bracco has much NHL value). The trouble with any Ranger/Leafs deal is both teams are a little cap strapped. Rangers more than the Leafs.
Strome at centre, Kerfoot moves to LW. It's an easy fit for the Leafs. This might be more of an off season trade when the Rangers figure out their three goalie system, though they have no reason to move Georgiev.

Strome is having a great year. Beyond that he's not really been anything other than a bottom 6 guy who isn't a very good skater. Kap is younger with more upside and is a way better skater. No thanks

Spezza is doing that now though and his speed isn't much worse than Strome's. All at the cost of Kapanen who has a higher ceiling and is a much better skater who also is a good PK guy. This is a backwards move.

Strome is having an outlier season due to Panarin. This is poor asset management.

There are a few reasons I want no part of Strome. The biggest being which Strome are we getting here? The kid from Long Island with potential? Thebone that crapped the bed there? The one that couldn't sieze an opportunity in Edmonton?

Way too many question marks around Strome to even think about it. And with this sudden career revival, it's a contract the Leafs can't afford.

I fear Strome is akin to going to 5 Guys and expecting a kickass burger and getting a Big Mac.

the thing is Ryan Strome is probably having a career year. Aside from that he hasn't been good.

Any GM that trades anything of value for Bracco is a sucker.
