That forward group is elite no doubt. Playoffs fully hinge on Price though, will he play well or not?

Considering it's the same team that is currently not a playoff team except for a few unproven rookies - I'd say no.

If Price doesn't play well good thing Cayden Primeau exists

I also have doubts that Caufield will play over Drouin due to Drouin and Domi's chemistry
This is what I would do:

Tatar - Danault - Gallagher
Drouin - Domi - Suzuki
Lehkonen - Kotkaniemi - Caufield
Byron - Poehling - Armia (alternate 4th line: Poehling - Evans - Armia)

D is fine, and so is G

And they weren't a playoff team with them healthy either - they lost 8 games in a row earlier in the year too. Was that due to injuries? Either way, they have not been consistent. Injuries hurt, but good teams find a way.

That could be misleading. Considering this team is very very young, every year is worth a lot in term of improvement from our young rookies. It's fair to expect great improvement from KK, Poehling, Suzuki, Mete, Fleury, and ultimately Romanov and Caufield. So same team will not equal same results over the next few years.

I agree and expect them to hopefully improve in their development - I really like MTLs young players. But KK took a step back this year, so it could happen with others. It's hard to put that pressure on such young players. I think they all have great potential, but tough to expect them to bring MTL to the playoffs. In a few years this team will be solid, but I think they may be a bubble team/miss next year and then they may start to make the playoffs consistently

Drouin Byron Kotkaniemi Mete were injured during that 8 loses streak ... MTL haven’t been healthy this year. Right now, Drouin Byron Gallagher Armia Chiarot are injured ...
