COL doesn’t need goaltending....at least according to their ACGMs. I don’t think they need to trade for Crawford.

Hard to predict what the trade market will be for Strome. But if NYR can't get a better offer than Krys and a 2nd round pick, I believe Gorton would make this trade. Though NYR would probably prefer a forward prospect instead of a D-man prospect.

He’s a serviceable bottom pairing guy who likes to hit and play physically. Reasonable cost. Not the highest hockey IQ I agree and he doesn’t handle the puck well. With the right partner he hardly sucks as you put it.

if they do a goaltending move, its for a Georgiev type goalie, not a 35 year pending UFA with below average numbers, especially paired with a 3rd pair pending UFA dman for a good draft pick and. nice young forward

Rangers do not make this trade.. Krys has 4 points in 26 games in the American and plays RHD. We are already so crowded in that position.

The 2nd doesn't move the needle either. Strome nets you a first rounder and a prospect because hes a cheap cap hit, almost a ppg player, and an RFA so the team will have control of him for at least a year.

Im sorry, I honestly don't think 1 of those trades is viable.

A Blackhawks 2nd isn't that much worse than, say, a Bruins 1st, but the prospect would have to interesting. And probably a forward.
Also the Rangers dont have to move him since he's not a ufa.
