I really like these trades, but it's a bit low for Pageau..

Considering Pageau will be considered a rental, I'm not sure many teams will look at giving much more than a 2nd round pick and a B grade prospect.

If you look at what rentals are going for these days and the type of trades made the last few years.

Maybe if the Sens grant teams permission to talk an extension prior to a trade, and the team feels confident in re-signing him would they offer a bit more.

But even still it's not like he's Mark Stone level, and the Knights felt really confident in re-signing him, and still only gave up basically a second round pick and an A level prospect. The 28 year old Swede was a random through in the Sens didn't even extend.
