Description

The Leafs make two trades to fill the needs on defense and between the pipes. I used my trade from last time for Alexandar Georgiev, and replaced Riley Stotts with a local boy who, I feel, the Rangers would give a chance to. As for the Devils, the Leafs make a trade for PK Subban, and I know the value is off here but still.

Why does Jersey do this? Eat half the contract on PK and lose Barrie to FA? I mean I know the new GM/AGM are like 12 hr old at doing this, but no. Yes retain heavily on PK but something has to come back.

No, I don't think I will. As @Smitty426 had mentioned, something has to come back, and coming back would have to be pieces of at least some value, but they got Dmytro Timashov and Andreas Johnsson, two players that could help them win in the near future if utilized correctly, and a third-round pick heading to Toronto.

Leafs have no interest in ruining their cap for the following two season by taking Subban.
