Description
gryz trade- Winnipeg gets a solid 2LD to slot behind Morrissey as well as young forward who can log NHL mins on 3rd, 4th line. Bruins get good young right shot fwd with lots of potential. Bruins get space to sign Krug and decently - high draft pick. not sure if the picks make the value match but whatever.

Traded Bjork for a pick for the cap space, and id prefer Heinen at 3rw. Edmonton could be good fit for Bjork , play with good centre and EDM just needs talented, capable players to play with McDavid and Leon. I can see them giving up a 2nd for him.

Stud and Coyle are interchangable, and Roslovic can be tried on 1rw, 2rw, 3rw.

Signed Chara, you can take or leave it

Wouldn't mind trading good players for decent draft picks (2nd's in this case) , would like to see more centre prospects in the pipeline with an aging Bergeron and Krejci deal expiring shortly

Just realized I didn't sign a backup, whoops. I'd go Halak for no more than 3m, if not him we could get a decent one for around 2

Im actually a fan of keeping gryz but I don't see it working with the cap. When it comes to keeping Krug or Gryz, im taking Krug, especially while we still have rights over Gryz. Let Lauzon, Vaak, Zboril all see some NHL time so we can figure out what we are working with, over them being career providence players. Even if its a small upgrade, Roslovic helps the right side which we desperately need

If they put Bjork w/ McDavid, he'd put up stupid numbers lol.

Any player w at least mediocre offensive upside could put up good numbers w McJesus. Bjork has insane offensive potential

I don't think Bjork has done anything to prove he's worth a 2nd in a deep draft. You talk of his "insane offensive potential", but he's already 23 and will be 24 I the summer when this trade takes place, he's already nearing the end of his offensive prime.

Edmonton isn't going to pay extra for a player just because McDavid can make him into a 20-goal scorer.

Fair argument. insane is probably an overstatement. I’ll come back with this

If you have watched the Bruins consistently this year, you’d see that Bjork has been playing excellent hockey. Execution hasn’t always been there, but he makes 3-7 plays every single game that show great offensive potential. It’s not a matter of his age, it’s a matter of him learning how to produce at the NHL level, which will come at time. I refuse to believe a team like the oilers, who need as many offensive wingers as they can, wouldn’t at least consider a 2nd for him.

How much time will it take? He's already played parts of 3 seasons in the NHL. I just don't see a 2nd round pick value here.

Hard to say exactly, as much of it depends on who he plays with as well. He hasn’t been He’s played 3rd line mins all year, up until about 2 games ago where he’s been skating 2nd line with Krejci and DeBrusk, Bjork already has a goal tonight. Hard to put up numbers with Par Lindholm and Sean Kuraly as your consistent centers, and David Backes, Brett Ritchie and Danton Heinen as your consistent co-wingers. Not to mention very little PP time, since the Bruins PP1 is stacked and eats up most of the time whenever they get PP’s.
