Up to TDL - Det Pitts NYi Ott

Created by: pasha123
Team: 2019-20 Vancouver Canucks
Initial Creation Date: Jan. 4, 2020
Published: Jan. 14, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
A.A is a good player, having a tough year like the rest of the team. Stecher is a good no. 5 dman, could play top 4 when needed, Lockwood and local boy, could be a good fit going forward for Det.

Sven is better than Alex on both sides of the ice and Tim brings some toughness, grit and PK

Sutter, when healthy is a very good 3rd line C, Tryamkin is younger and bit better version of Mayfield, looking to come back to NHL end of this year, I think he will have a lot of success on Long Island.( this was a tough one)

Loui replaces Mikkel this year and adds a bit of buffer to get to the cap floor for the Sens the next two years.

** would like to see the team move Tanev this year for some draft picks but this wont happen. He is having a decent year, will help with the P.O push, don't see him coming back next year.

Ottawa doesn't need to take Eriksson to hit the floor. They're likely to re-sign DeMelo, Duclair and Connor Brown, and they have Thomas Chabot's 8mil extension which kicks in next year.

Even if they did, they wouldn't do it for free. They don't do it without assets coming back

why would the penguins want to carry Baertschi cap hit next year.
They wouldn't. We'd rather keep chucky at that rate.

With Chabots extension Sens are about 25million away from cap floor, Callahan's and Mcaurthurs insurance paid salaries are off the books next year, the year after that another almost 5 off with gaborik.. Why would Melnyk do this??? cuz its a 5 million cap hit with only 4 million of real dollars over 2 years paid, so 2 per year.. that's why your teams owner does this.. with no sweetener needed smile..

sorry Andreas isn't worth that much, a 2nd rounder yes, more on that no. Yzerman most likely will get a 2nd rounder plus maybe a mid tier prospect or a 3rd rounder at most

Fair point! if the Pens have more useful players for next year than for sure this trade isn't needed. I don't follow Pens at all, not sure how Galchenyuk's game is, just from what I've read he isn't fitting in with the team .

You're seriously over stating how difficult it will be for Ottawa to hit the floor. They have guys they can throw money at, and they can just add a couple of vets if they want for one year like they did with Hainsey this year.

The asking price is a 2nd rounder and a B, prospect so this essentially what I asked for
