Oh come on...Getzlaf who has been one of the best centers in the league forever (getting older and not the same player, but still), a number 2 if not number 1 defenseman who is young and has term, and one of the top goaltenders in the league on a killer contract -- and ANA retains hard on these contracts?! And they don't even get ONE of you top prospects??! Newhook? Byram? Timmins? Kaut? Makar? Just take a step back and if you were ANA, what would you expect for the face of your franchise, your best defenseman, and your best goaltender (who is beyond elite)?

"give up" ?? "no top prospect" ??

You guys probably don't know much about G prospect Justus Annunen. This guy is a monster and he dominates at 19 in the Finland SM-Liiga, a men's league. Within 3 years max, you will have your new John Gibson. He's right of what is called a Top Prospect. Tyson Jost is still a Top Prospect as far as I know. But the coach here wastes him using it 8-10 min on the 4th line. OK guys, I'm replacing Cam Morrison (that you probably don't know) for C/RW Martin Kaut, the 16th overall pick in 2018. Are you okay with that ? I think Morrison is going to be a better player anyway ;-) So you have 4 Prospects: Annunen, Kaut, Jost, Rosen + a 1st rounder and 2 NHL guys: Zadorov and Grubauer (Z and Grub can be traded again for other assets if you decide not to keep). It's a much better trade than you think.
