He’s not wrong but he was kind of a D about it. LucaJo isn’t worth a 2nd round pick imo. Mhockey91 is right just package him to dump a contract. He still has some value. Major issue is that he’s been leaped frogged a few times and hasn’t played an nhl game.

Yup, NSH will take him to see if he improves knowing he could play with his brother, but they won't pay much for it - especially not a high 2nd in a good draft year.

Agree Gudas probably gets more than $3M, but Siegs should still be in value bridge deal territory.

Based on @mhockey91 and @Capitalfail67 I have edited the trade to package Panik and LucasJo for a prospect and a pick. Kept it with NSH though.

Was I supposed to read that title to the tune of Everybody by the Backstreet Boys? Because I did.

Great to see that Dicklas will get to finish his career beside Ovi. As it should be.

Yes you were...and Nicklas man, Nicklas. Backie is the farthest from a "D" actually one of the nicest humans ever.

I think NSH still passes. They are tight against the cap next year and can't afford to give nearly $3m for 3 more years to a 28 year old that looks like he is past his prime. NSH just isn't a team that can really afford bad contracts right now - they have some of their own and now have some big contracts on the books with Josi's $9m kicking in next year. I looked it up a while ago, and I think they have about $12m available to fill 8 spots to make a 23 man roster -- this is before resigning any RFAs or UFAs. So I don't see them taking a contract like this which would take up nearly 1/4th of their available cap next season.

I think Nashville can just be a placeholder. Another team would probably take that offer
