Hard pass on Djoos...I doubt he sees the ice in a Caps uniform again unless there's an injury this year. But for next year he's gone, especially at that salary increase.

I agree w/ trading Panik and LucasJo somewhere. They both do not fit in DC system.

And you're cool w/ Connor McMichael converting to wing? Is he playing C only at Juniors?

Plus I'd keep Boyd over Sgarbossa, thanks

Djoo is a cheap ish option that can play right or left side. IMO he should be playing right now over Jensen. Injuries happen and I’d like to have a solid plan b.

Kuzy started out at wing then moved to center. I think the most important thing is getting adjusted to the nhl speed. Adjusting to the speed is easier when you have limited responsibilities. Eller would also be a great mentors.

Boyd needs to go somewhere he can play. Think of it as a Stephenson 2.0 move

I'd be really surprised if that was the goalie tandem the Caps ran with next season. I think you can get a stop-gap veteran that can step in to be a backup to get 30 games off of Samsonov. Vanecek is decent in the AHL right now, but that's a lot of inexperience at the NHL level.

Agreed on moving Johansen out. I think we can get another change of scenery candidate like Ho-Sang for him, but we'll see.
