Not that this is what I would necessarily do, but it looks like EDM has some space next year to add some big ticket free agents (if they can dump 1-2 contracts). Just depends if they want to sign there. EDM could be scary next year if they add the right depth in the off-season.

Kailer Yamamoto is not a center. He has never played center. Take the money you gave Toffoli and invest it in a reliable #3C. Play Benson as the #3LW. Don't sign Kassian, and leave Yamamoto in the #2RW spot.

Trades are fine-ish. Feels like you could get a fair bit more for Koskinen than a depth defender and a mid round pick.

Broberg and Skinner are not NHL ready players. Both will require another year before they can reasonably consider themselves genuinely in the fold for NHL employment. Resign Lagesson or Jones to play #3LD and sign an NHL backup.
