I disagree. Lundqvist at 4.25m is worth it. Especially with andersson.

Lindquist is still the 3rd best goalie on Colorado. And has a year left on his contract. Easy pass for Colorado...

I also think that hank isnt worth a first rounder, and a prospect upgrade.. the guys best days are behind him, at this point he only goes to the avs to be grubauers backup and possibly win a cup

I imagine Lundqvist "trade me to list" is very short. Even fewer teams need him. So the Rangers really don't have any leverage demanding much in a trade. And the Rangers need cap space. So if you find that trading partner, doubt if much is going back to Rangers even with 50% retention.
