Over the last 6 seasons (not including his blah early years) Zucker is a 45 point, non-physical, meh-defensively player. He is not a star, he is not a difference maker.

He would be the #4 forward cap hit on the Pens, for 45 points and not much else.

He wasn't the least bit noticeable last night. Penguins shouldn't give up any players for him.

I agree. Zucker may not be the way to go. He had one big 30 goal 60 point season and cashed in on it. Granted he does usually score 20 goals and thats nothing to take lightly but there may be better options. If they can squeeze Minny and give up less then I'd be ok with it.

The problem isn't what he does, the problem is what he does while having a $5.5M cap hit. I guess also that people are giving up a lot in trade for what he does while having a $5.5M cap hit. Double whammy.

I get you but unfortunately if you look at other players his age that consistently average 20 goals the norm is between 5 mil and 6 mil. Do some of those players players offer other skill sets as well yes but goals get the $$$. He did sign the 5.5 mil after his 30 goal 60 pt season which i'm sure seemed like a bargain at the time.
