Pens rumored to want a bottom-6 forward and a pick. You could prob do this without McCabe

If I'm Buffalo I never make that offer...my offer would be Bogosian and hold some salary to even the cap hit. Both are UFA's at seasons end where McCabe still has a year of contract left after this season. Galchenyuk isn't going to put the Sabres into the playoffs so it's more a deal that gives Pitt some defensive depth

Chucky for Vesey should have been done months ago.
It's a deal that has always make a ton of sense.
I don't know why they can't figure it out.
Vesey would get to play in a faster paced offense and show off his skill set.
Chucky would get to go on a team where he can just let it rip with his shot and score some goals instead of trying to be a guy that is running and gunning because he just doesn't fit that mold.

That is basically why it isn't working for either player currently. Chucky needs that structure and zone play type of game. The penguins want to simply fly up and down the ice like it's backyard hockey.
Neither player is in the right system for their skill set. It's a good switch for both players. They would both excel.
