Kreider and Josh Manson and Josh Anderson

Created by: kscoop
Team: 2019-20 Boston Bruins
Initial Creation Date: Jan. 15, 2020
Published: Jan. 15, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Kreider going rate appears to be a 1st and 3rd. Josh Manson in the dog house. Grzelcyk a good fit for Ducks. Mobile and young dman that the Bruins have too much of. Manson would be a great fit for the Bruins. Finally, Josh Anderson for Danton Heinen. Heinen is the better player but Anderson is more what the Bruins currently need for a long playoff run.

and the ducks shouldn't trade their only RHD for their 75th LD

Grzelcyk is not a good fit for Ducks, we don't need LD we need a good RD, especially if Manson if being moved. and we don't have any need for Cehlárik why would we add a C prospect at a position we dont need while trading from n area we have a massive need at?

Grzelcyk plays RD very well. Cehlarik is a winger. An average winger but a winger nonetheless. Maybe swap out Cehlarik for Steen who is a much better prospect?

Grzelcyk is still of almost 0 interest. we have very little use for wing prospects unless they are a strict A level one

I don't think boston matches up with us prospect wise to get Manson tbh

He’s not of 0 interest. Every team in the NHL wants grzelcyk on their team. Where we agree is that Manson for grzelcyk makes zero sense for the ducks, or the bruins to be honest.

Cut the ducks trade. It just makes no sense for either side.
Danton Heinen is better than josh Anderson. Significantly.

In my post I meant in a Manson trade, outside of that we have very little use for him so I can't see us giving anything up for him

ducks could use him as an add but not as a swap. hurts them more than it helps them to just swap. manson is the better player, hence why kscoop is targeting him. Bruins however dont need a top4 rd. so im not too sure why hes being targeted here to begin with. if anything they need kevan miller to come back 100% healthy.

C Prospect

A - Studnicka
B - Zech
C - Chelarik (although he is probably better than that).

If the return is mediocre AND doesn't make sense (Not much need for LD's in Anaheim), why would the Ducks do it? Just to do it? No thanks.

If I'm the Ducks, I'm holding onto Manson and waiting until July 1st to fill that big old hole on the right hand side with a good RHD in free agency. Lots of cap space.

Why would the Bruins trade two LHD and get one RHD, they have Carlo and McAvoy while their LHD are old or small, trading Grzelcyk and acquiring Manson makes zero sense for Boston.

Ducks trade makes no sense for either team, especially the Ducks.

The rest i can live with tho i hate giving up a 1st for a rental.

Anderson for Heinen i like. Anderson better at putting the puck in the net, 20 per 82 as opposed to 13 per 82 career, and unlike Heinen is not as soft as a baby’s a$$. Gets injured to much tho. Sam Bennett would be a good target too. Teams needs more grit. Team is way to soft. Heinen and Ritchie are big part of that. Heinen not productive enough to be that soft. Ritchie does not do anything at all with his size.

And grzelcyk is better than them. I openly said this move didn’t make senes for them, but saying that the ducks have very little use for Matt grzelcyk is bonkers.

Zech is not a B prospect. He is org depth unlikely to ever see the NHL.

Frederic/Steen/Shen are B type prospects

I stand by it, a rebuilding team does have very little use for a 26 YO bottom 4 Dman who is probably at his ceiling already

You’ll have to forgive him. He thinks Grizz is the second coming of Bobby Orr. He’s a #4 type dman. With Lindholm and Fowler there he’s 3rd pairing for you guys and with Larssen, Mahura, Guhle there he’s a luxury you just don’t need.

Oh I know he overvalues every player you guys have, Never said Grizz was bad but apparently a team not needing someone on Boston is a crime that is unforgivable

Ill take the ceiling of Mahura/Guhle/Larsson over Grizz any day, Ducks don't need him and people that are objective know that, unfortunately he isnt

Semantics.

To me, B Prospects are org depth.

A+ = Sure thing
A = highly shocked if not in top 6/top 4 roll (Stud, Vaak, Beecher)
A- = Top 9/ 4th/5th dman (Lauko, Shen, Steen, Lauzon, Senyshyn, Frederic, Andersson, Zboril, Keyser)
B+ = 4th line NHL'er 6th/7th dman (Blidh, Cehlarik)
B = Organizational depth - NHL call ups for a couple games ( Zech, Sherman)
C = Never seeing NHL.

Fair enough. Different grading systems. I’m more:

A - premuim/impact player
B- nhl complimentary player
C- tweener
D- org depth likely to never see NHL unless desperate, ie Tommy Cross

Zech is a D in my system. ??‍♂️ Certainly below Cehlarik.

I routinely trash bruins players. Grzelcyk isn’t one of them because he’s really underrated (boy did he play horribly on monday night though). I think you’re thinking of another poster. You’ll have to forgive that gofnut guy for being a doofus. Luckily i only see his posts when people respond to him.

Point of order, I didn’t mean, “you don’t know who he is,” in a bad way, really. I realize it might have come off as condescending. On a blue line with Chara, Krug, McAvoy, and Carlo, it’s pretty easy to just think of Grzelcyk as a plug in. Last season, Grzelcyk was their best even strength left D, and it wasn’t particularly close. There’s a reason he’s frequently (not always, but frequently) paired with McAvoy.
