First. NYR doesn't have Dallas's 1st round pick.
Second. Brendan Smith. GTFO.

Look at the trades posted before commenting-- and one year of smith will cost at MOST a 1st round pick (he's only making $3,350,000 which is half of Marleau's contract which net a 1st)

Fast has been great playing with Panarin and is one of the Rangers best two-way players and PK specialist. Don't see him going anywhere.

Yes we can, without much problem. Georgiev is being moved, we won't have to resign him, plus you can't lose Strome he's so great with Breadman

Yea but that trade is never going to happen. So no, you don't have Dallas's 1st Round Pick.

He can play anywhere in the lineup and a guy who’s always out there to protect a late game lead. Deserves a raise and some term, not sure what the rangers plan will be there. Might quietly be one of the best deadline pickups if they make him available

COL has extra cap space this year so they arent going to pay extra for NYR to retain for a year. Take out the retention on Kreider and downgrade the 1st to a 2nd + 3rd and the Avs accept.

ok, but I dont think the Avs would include a 1st rounder for Kreider unless it comes with an extension
