Hard to say both very good players marner does play with better players but I could see marner over half forsure

In the role he would be playing in I would take Couturier over Scheifele. Not that he's bad defensively but Couturier is one of the best defensive forwards in the league. Scheifele still makes the team but on the wing somewhere.

Okay fair I agree couturier is sick defensively but who would he make it over? Keep in mind ROR Bergeron and stone are nasty two way players and so is scheif

Probably Huberdeau or Hall if you have a line of Scheif coots and Stone as a shut down line with the all the talent around them it's pretty hard to imagine other teams finding a "best" match up anywhere.
