Jost is not good enough to make a first a 2nd and 3rd. It’s a first and Jost and Ranta or just no deal.

unless he comes with an extension then COL shouldnt give up a 1st. I just cant see Sakic trading a 1st+ for a pure rental

Teams do it. He’s worth it. Watch some playoff highlights from our previous runs and tell me he’s not worth it??‍♂️

yeah some teams do it but its rarely worth it. Kreider is a good player but I think its shortsighted to trade a 1st round pick for someone who could leave in a few months

If you win a Stanley cup it doesn’t matter tho. Your team is a cup contender. If you lose in the 2nd round because you didn’t pay the price of a late first than you’ll be kicking yourself. And if the argument is that he’s not the necessary for the price than dont consider the pursuit.

Kings say no to this trade. They want a 2nd and a prospect. This gives them neither of those things.

A 2nd and Bowers should do it for Toffoli.

If we lose in the 2nd round there's no guarantee that adding Kreider would be the difference between winning and losing. They could get a different rental without giving up a 1st

I don't think the Avs would include Bowers. He's been great recently in the AHL. I think they would do Kaut/Helleson + 2nd though

Kings would probably consider Kaut. Don't think they'd target a defensive prospect though.

Kreider is gonna cost a 1st and probably a younger player/prospect, kinda like Brendan Lemieux in the Hayes trade.

      Toffoli I can't see netting a 1st. Probably a 2nd and prospect

Yeah obviously that's how we would keep the 1st...
