Detroit isn't making that trade, you'd have to add to get Bertuzzi.
Columbus isn't interested in trading Anderson for any of those players.
I'll counter offer with Lowry and a 6th for Benning and Lagesson??

You really think you’re gonna get Detroit’s leading scorer for a bust and a 2nd?

You’re not getting bertuzzi. Doesn’t matter what assets you have. He’s an all star

Good because a spoiled brat in Jesse Puljujarvi+Edmonton's 2020 2nd round pick is nowhere near enough to get Tyler Bertuzzi out of Motown.

Fine, If you're going to make offers on our players, Then at least try and make fair offers for them. Not this crap that's nowhere close to being realistic.

Bertuzzi I think fits well with McDavid and Kassian, man that'd be a sick line. Maybe even Mantha too. But I guess those guys are Detroit's building blocks so idk. Detroit is so rich in forward prospects with Zadina, Veleno, one of Lafreniere or Byfield, plus you already have Bertuzzi, Larkin, Mantha, maybe even keep AA. Lucky guy. I'm also a big fan of Albin Grewe, I was hoping we'd be able to pick him up at last year's draft. I'm thinking he's gonna be solid player

I wonder if Anderson is available though. He's really struggling this year. He'd look nice in our lineup as well. Just some guys who can skate and be physical and still put up some production. I don't see the need for the Oilers to add another soft skilled player. We need to add some grit and sand paper that can produce in our lineup.

Yeah Bert would look great with McDavid but who wouldn't.. Lol.. I really think the Oilers should try to grab Athanasiou and I agree the Wings forward core is taking shape, if they get Lafreniere and grab a goalie and a dman in free agency the Wings might be much improved next season.

Anderson is probably available and might not take much to get, something better then what you got here though.

Well they can’t be targets if you aren’t willing to pony up. Even in a vacuum that Detroit Trade is horrible.

I also see AA looking good with McDavid on that first line, and I would guess the cost to acquire him is lower than Bertuzzi at this point. However, I don't think we really need him because we've got alot of skilled/soft players. We need guys who can be physical and still play some hockey.

I wish we'd acquire Anderson because I think there's a player there. But that'd mean we'd probably be trading Chiasson in the offseason/part of the package.

I'm not a big fan of Neal and Chiasson because they're not as fast, but they do produce points.

The oilers reportedly went after josh anderson and they were asking for a first and bouchard/broberg. Very little chance the oil get anderson imo.

I think you need any actual top 6 winger at this point and AA would be a good fit with McDavid, if he can be had for a 2nd and B-prospect which is the rumor then you'd be crazy to not make that deal.

As for Anderson his numbers are really down, if he doesn't rebound to 3rd line production he wasn't worth acquiring imo. Oilers need secondary scoring, if you want guys to go waste time Adam Lowry is the guy your looking for.. Lol

I hope this experience teaches you that next time, just leave the "Return" boxes blank and you won't get unsolicited flak from the peanut gallery (to mix a metaphor). Then you can just say, "These are targets I think we should have in mind. What do you think would be a good trade to acquire one or more of them, with the assets we have?"

You might not get more intelligent comments, but at least they'd be kinda on the subject.
