Wouldnt it be hilarious is SJ and Vegas both missed the playoffs

Could be a benefit long term. This team doesn't seem a Cup team and getting better prospects helps a retool faster.

Even if they sneak into the postseason, Vegas can make it to the West Final w/o beating a top 10 team in the league. The Pacific division is particularly weak this season. I still think they're the favorite to prevail. I don't see ARI, CGY, or EDM beating Vegas in a 7 game series. But, you never know. They have to make the playoffs first.

I still think SJS should pursue Georgiev in a trade with the Rangers.
