Seems like an overpayment for Caggiula and an underpayment for Strome.

Caggs won't make that, more like $1.75M...injuries suck and count against ability to be paid. If Shaw retires, like you have here, I think the Hawks do indeed re-sign Caggs.
Strome will make $4.5M to $5.25M, closer to $4.5M the longer he sits out
Lehner is getting $7M all day and I bet $7.5M is realistic.
I highly doubt Crow will accept less then $3M.

Have to consider Hagel, Barratt, and Kurashev stepping up.

We can trade Maatta, he's got value IMO and would save $1M against the cap.

Didn’t want to suggest any trades in this one.

I’m thinking about doing an opinion dump in my next post about A bunch of players, but I don’t want to make something really long that no one wants to read. Might just make a series.

I honestly don't think there are any big trades on the horizon in the offseason. Either this TDL or next if the Hawks are out of it yes, but in the offseason don't think any big trades or big signings will happen. Ian Mitchell will be the biggest addition.

If they get lehner signed they should just let Crawford go. Or better yet, get lehner signed now and trade crow at the deadline.

Can't see kubalik getting 4 mil after one good season. Probably closer to 2 mil for a year or two.

Given his scoring pace right now, and his talent is obvious, I peg him anywhere from $2.75M to $3.25M on a shorter deal from 1 to 3 years.

I hate that third line though. I love Cags but he can’t stay healthy and I feel like we need to move on and get what we can for him.
