We'll do better then that; Saad and Crawford both with multiple cups coming with them

This move puts you 2mil over the cap, and Lundqvist is arguably a downgrade from Francouz right now... and I'm a Rangers fan. Not sure why you'd want to take on his contract, and I'm pretty sure it'd handcuff you next year

it doesn't put over with the deadline cap space (they have 15m current cap)-- also rangers could retain on kreider.

besides that;
rangers have no need for Francouz or Connauton-- both are pending UFAs that the rangers will not keep.

And as it stands, Kreider+Lundqvist > Jost + 1st + 3rd (considering that the 1st rounder is gonna be in the 25+ range)

If rangers do get rid of lundqvist, i can see them retaining half to maximize the return-- same as kreider

Not a very bright one apparently...

The guy in the top right is Hank, the guy in the bottom left is Francouz

Screen-Shot-2020-01-16-at-9-30-41-AM

now find them compared to the rest of the league...you'll see Hank still pulling away from the pack.

Screen-Shot-2020-01-16-at-9-34-43-AM

Coupling this with his otherworldly performance in the playoffs, The cost for Hank is going to be high....

Do you not see the -1.8mil cap space on the roster above?

Georgiev is the one they are trading regardless

do you not realize that this is over the course of a season, not their current cap situation?

... if you trade for Hank and Kreider now, their cap hit is the same as it is currently, it doesn't change. So by the proposed lineup the OP has, Colorado is over the cap

please educate yourself with the way the cap works.

https://www.nhl.com/news/trade-deadline-q-a/c-409700

everything is pro-rated at the deadline.. that's why colorado has over 15m of cap space currently for this season when they only have just over 6m in projected space.

i.e kreider and lundqvist cap hit is not 12+m

Francouz has more left in the tank than Crow. Saad is known around the league for not being hockey smart and I’m sure that the Rangers know of it. The cups are nice but Francouz and Jost can provide more together in the future.

I'm sure Francouz has more left in the tank, he's played all of 21 games in the NHL at the age of 29! lol

Saad known for not being hockey smart? LMAO okay

Francouz was over in the KHL winning goalie of the year. He’s looking to be a starting goalie in the NHL. Crawford has a list of injuries that will alert any team. If Saad is so good why have the hawks been trying to trade him for over a year now??

He was in the KHL because he hasn't been able to make the NHL. He's a backup currently, like any backup, I'm sure he wants to be a starter. Crow doesn't have a list of injuries, he has had a couple concussions, not a list of injuries. Where have you read the Hawks have been trying to trade Saad? I religiously follow the Hawks and the beat writers and never has anyone suggested they are trying to get rid of their 2nd best forward on the team this season; what you are reading is other teams have contacted the Hawks including last year where it was well known teams offered a first for him and the Hawks said no way.
