Yeah you're not getting Zadorov for Lundqvist at 50% off. A deal around AA for Zadorov makes more sense then an aging goalie whom's career is almost over does.

With all the other moves(good/bad/indifferent) whats the point of the Staal trade? With $15mm in cap space, why not have him as the 7th defenceman in the press box every night and keep the two 2nd round picks?

Having said that...the COL deal never happens...the BOS trade is a maybe and the OTT trade may work although it may be a 3rd/4th as Smith provides no value and Lias is a complete ?
