I agree. It would cost something Similar to Muzzin if not more. Maybe Bracco/SDA + Moore + 1st would get it done?

The only thing i like about Martinez is he is right handed. I wouldn't trade Kap for him straight up. if we want to go after a trade target who is under contract for next year as well there are better players i would target.

Why? Muzzin is better and younger than Martinez? What is the logic people on here use? Muzzin is a top pair defender, was in LA and won a cup. Martinez has never been a top pair guy and isn't as good defensively as Muzzin nor is he even close offensively. That should mean that Martinez is cheaper than Muzzin.

probably less. he isnt as good as muzzin. i cant see them wanting to give up their 1st in a trade either. korskov, kokkonen and a 2nd seems fair.

Yea, we get into the this scenario where every other teams RHD is so much better than the Leafs. Even the Sharks trade, though Dillon is OK, the Leafs have ample good LHD.
In this whole trade the Leafs get two Dmen, give up one Dman, a good RW, a semi regular LWer, a prospect and two seconds. An overpayment.

Then you don't like him at all, because he is left-handed. He just happens to play the right side (did with Jake Muzzin in the past).

What kind of offer do you think would be fair for Stetcher? A solid 2nd pair RD

Im not sure. I really enjoy the work of Harman Dayal who is the staff writer for TheAthletic who covers the Canucks. I respect his opinion a lot and his opinion is that he thinks the Canucks don't want to commit to Stecher as a main part of ther blue line because mainly because of his size and how much they think his value from an arbitrator will be compared to how much they think he is actually worth as well as him being able to just accept a qualifying offer and going UFA in a year. He is convinced that Green doesn't like Stecher and wants to have him traded. Knowing this he has speculated that the Canucks would have trouble getting a third round draft pick for him. I find that a little suspect since i would gladly give up a 3rd for him.

Ya I think the same, he’s worth more to most teams than a 3rd. Are there any players who have started to fall out of favour that the Canucks could get back in return for him?
