Thanks for the mid 6 winger, but no friggin’ thanks.

Ducks pass, they need quality over quantity if we move Manson, and Miller. I'm against moving Kase at all since his value is pretty low at the moment.

Kase is a year younger than Johnsson and faster, with equivalent statistics, and has a much higher upside. Anaheim probably wants to hold on to him, as @Salzy says, to see whether his injury history will determine the arc of his career.

Whatever your opinion of their respective playing abilities, Manson is more valuable than Ceci because he is signed for two more years at less than Ceci would cost.

Miller is far more valuable than Kaskisuo.

Moore, Bracco and the over-the-horizon draft picks do not balance out the above-mentioned disparities.

In short, this is little-or-no-impact spare parts which the Ducks really don't need in exchange for three useful roster players, regardless of Anaheim's lack of success this year.

You mean... A Leafs fan, (and I am one so I say this with sincerity), overvaluing a bunch of spare parts, (no offense Johnsson), and trying to flip them for quality players from another team??? Shocking.

No way the Ducks need this, none.

I have no idea why people don't look at these things from both sides before posting these ridiculous ideas. Put yourself in the Ducks position and ask how this potentially benefits them. Really, try it.

If the situation were reversed, would you want spare parts for quality roster players?? C'mon man.

In all fairness, all teams have posters who do the same thing. Severely over value their team's players and create some lopsided trade proposals in their team's favour.

I am not disputing that one bit. It is a common trait that homer cheerleaders will always do. My point is, there needs to be value on both sides for it to be realistic. This lopsided "take all of my spare parts and give me much more value in return" concept is just madness.

I only ask that people look at things from the team's perspective and how they would react to it if the situations were reversed. No more, no less.
