Reason for Bonino - Cup winner, excellent on the PK which Tor sucks at all year.

Sharks don't have the cap room to make that happen.

The deal for Georgie starts with AJ or KK and tweaks from there. Maybe NYR adds maybe not but get real with this Bracco and a crap pick nonsense.

I made a SJ team to check the trade going the other way, they would have 22 man roster but it fits

okay so they are left with $90K cap space if they carry 22 men. Don't you think the Sharks can do better for Dillon then a 2nd round pick (Ceci is useless to them)?

well then maybe that should have been your original point smile they might be able to though, i like dillon and would be willing to through in a conditional pick if dillon signs again

Dillon is valuable to a lot of teams even as a rental. A late 2nd rounder isn't going to cut it for him, especially if they are taking on a cap dump in Ceci and hamstringing their roster with cap space so they can bring up young kids to try out the rest of the season.

Would you say a 3rd ungraded to a 2nd if he signs is enough? or looking for more immediate help of a roster player

A 2nd alone won't get Dillon IMO. Ceci has negative value to any non playoff team, so what you've proposed as a 2nd and Ceci is worse then just a 2nd. I think you'll need to move a prospect, pick and dump ceci on them if you want but keep in mind Ceci has negative value to the sharks and subtracts value to any other asset you are including.

I don't think there is a deal there between the Leafs and Rangers for Georgiev. He doesn't have that much value to Toronto. If they trade for him he plays 10 or so games this year, re-signs as a RFA and plays 25-35 next year. Then there's a good chance they lose him in the expansion draft. The Leafs aren't going to give up a young 20 goal scorer for 30-40 games of a backup goalie. But I agree he's worth more than Bracco (the guy only has 3 goals in the AHL this year) and a pick. Georgiev is ready to compete for a starting job or at least a 50/50 split. There are better fits out there for him and the Rangers.
