Description

Probably wishful thinking that MTL would move him, but would love to see him wearing the Flaming C. MTL gets Flames best prospect who also happens to be French Canadian as a nice bonus. Bennett gets much needed change of scenery in MTL who get a gritty former 4th overall pick. Kovalchuk is a throw in that helps MTL get full value in the trade. While there is no doubt Kovy is washed up... he would look deadly with Gaudreau in the offensive zone.

And kovalchuk is still efficient. I was the first to blame Bergevin for that signing but i have to say that i was wrong. He is still a good players and can play effectively on a daily basis.

5 point in 6 game averaging over 18 minutes of ice time a game since joining the Habs. With 17 game left before the deadline scout will continu to watch him carefully. There already been rumors that the bruins would like him and the calgary flames. With only 700000 in salary he will be one of the most interesting players out there. And sami vatanen will get traded for a old jack strap by that time go Yourself.
