If nothing else, PIT would hold the record for NHL players from Plano TX in the same year.

NJD would pass quite easily. They are not going to add expiring contracts and Blake Coleman is going nowhere.

Quite easily? Gally is traded to be flipped. A contender looking for scoring will pay at least a 3rd for him at 50% retention.
Jugs has 2 years left...?
JPO is on a rookie deal with 3 years left..?

If there is a buyer for Gally at that price, I would advise the Penguins to take it.

Also, Blake Coleman would fetch larger sum on open market.

I think you're overvaluing a 28 year old on a fully fledged rebuilding team.. Getting a draft pick + 2 guys who you can flip for Coleman to me isn't a bad return.

What do you think Coleman is going to be traded for just curious... I didn't realize all of a sudden he's a star

Why would we trade away our best defensive forward who has also put up 19 goals this season already?

And we just traded Hall for Bahl so we will be keeping him.

Coleman is on 33-goal pace (without any power play time), one of best PK'ers in game and making $1.8 million for this year and next.

From the Penguins, I would think these would be fair swaps for him:

(a) 2020 1st pick + Samuel Poulin
(b) 2020 2nd pick + Calen Addison
(c) 2020 1st pick, 2021 2nd pick, 2020 3rd pick
