Them might not, but this package absolutely has the value there. Zero doubt about that.

Right and that's exactly why Chicago should NOT do this, especially if they get a top 6 pick in the lottery as all those guys can be a dylan larkin and not cost us anything.

Regardless Detroit is not trading him. You would have to overpay by such a large amount and this isn't it. Value is fine if the guy isn't Larkin on Detroit.

Hmm Idk if detroit declines this or not. Detroit is gonna have a top 4 pick in the draft on their own, and adding another top 8 pick to that REALLY bolsters their young army with Zadina, Veleno, Bertuzzi, Seider. They could really do well to take this and draft Drysdale so they have a world class top 2 defense in a few years. Its intriguing for both sides but I am under the impression that neither side should make this trade. Larkin's leadership means a lot to detroit, and Strome's chemistry with Kane/Cat means a lot to Chicago, and that top 8 pick would go a LONG way toward our future, especially in this draft class. Definitely an interesting idea but I think this makes no sense for either team really.

Hell No, You want Larkin we want Dach, Or Boqvist or Debrincat regardless if this is value for Larkin or not, It's immaterial because he's not available unless it's massive over-pay by anybody. And the only decent piece is that we might get another top 10 picks that's it.

You don’t think Strome is a good piece?

He's okay? His numbers aren't up to Larkins standards yet. Plus he was just put on IR. Still if you want our top guy be prepared to pay dearly and this doesn't cut it.

He’s a pretty good piece IMO since being acquired by Chicago he has 81 points in 98 games. That translates to a .82 points per game and 67 points over a full 82 game schedule.

Larkin, who is great by the way, has scored 104 points out if 123 games over the last two seasons. This translates to .84 points per game and around 69 (nice) points over 82 games.

Both players are still very young, and could potentially turn into 75-80 point players in the future.

Larkin is better than Strome, no doubt... Strome gets to play with DeBrincat and Kane (This season) while Larkin doesn’t have nearly that level of talent to support him. I fully understand you not wanting to trade him, because of his many great qualities, but I believe that my proposal has very good value all things considered.

Larkin isn't being traded by Detroit unless it's a massive ...and I do mean massive....overpayment coming back. He's incredibly valuable to the franchise.

Larkin is a home town boy that has value beyond what can value.

He is probably suited better to be a 2nd line center, but he us what we have right now and building upon him and several other like Mantha, Bertuzzi, Hronek, and hopeful Zadina. If Wings were to trade him it would a kin to Yzerman being talked about being dealt back in the day. It would result in a revolt of the fan base that would cause harm that would take winning a cup or years to resolve.

That is a massive overpayment from CHI, Larkin is good no doubt but we are giving up so much and if we do get a top 8 pick we could get someone with potential like Larkin comfortably I think and still have Strome and Beaudin.
