Dont understand why Vancouver would be selling they are in the first wildcard spot and three points out of first in there division with two games in hand

Not sure Columbus would buy that condition... too risky considering Anderson has 1 year left on his contract and has never hit 50 points in a full season. So the condition is just flash at that point, if all things go right you’ll get the 1st but it’s not very likely.

Also Sutter really is just a cap dump to Columbus as he doesn’t fill a need that we as a team have.

he's mostly there as a cap dump. can still be a serviceable 3c, but not gonna add a ton of value

and yeah...what would you want for anderson if you're columbus though? his value is tough to gauge

I think a 2nd would get you Anderson. As I’d bet that’s what he’d have to get as an offersheet in the offseason for Columbus not to match.

I'd do that. how much do you think he makes on his next contract though? he's having a uh...horrible year but he's been effective in the past

Don't think Montreal would pay a 3rd round pick for Goldobin, but if it was a 5th with no conditions, I could see Montreal doing it.
