REASLISTIC DEALS Dell to Leafs Dillon to Oilers Melker to Flames Burns to Isles

Created by: CheechYou
Team: 2019-20 San Jose Sharks
Initial Creation Date: Jan. 17, 2020
Published: Jan. 17, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Obviously the big Isles deal is the least realistic but they could use some big-time offensive play on the right side in the back-end and if Burns is willing to waive for Lou-Island, the Sharks need to shed one of their large over-30 contracts and Burns is the guy who needs to go with EK65 already providing his services in better fashion.

The other deals and their prices are genuinely realistic based on the other teams' needs in their playoff runs (all of them are on expiring contracts).

Leafs fans were just hearing from an Edmonton fan how they would trade D for wingers, so I'm not sure about that Oilers deal. They shouldn't be renters anyway, they're a possible playoff team, but far from contending.
The Dell deal doesn't do diddly either, backup rentals cost way less than that. Trade Dillon to the Leafs also! That's my solution. Maybe then SJS get their 2nd from Toronto. But a 2021 2nd, they can afford that easier with the 2020 1st previously traded. Plus Bracco, and Petan, and Kevin Gravel too, he can soak up some D minutes.

I for sure think Dilly to TOR's a perfect fit too but Leafs fans here don't seem to think so, so I'll give em a night off from proposing that hah.

Deller's been the Sharks' starter since beginning of September and he's been phenomenal, definitely has jacked his price tag up. He should easily fetch a 2nd and most likely more.
