Description
thoughts on trade values appreciated!

These moves are mainly to strengthen the bottom 6 obviously while adding guys who play complete games and can score (Coleman & Anderoson)

Also, Glendening is among the highest faceoff % guys in the league and I think the Pens should address especially come playoff time

Why? I mean you make trades to make your team better, no?

You'd have to look outside your division for trades. CBJ is only a couple of points(?) out of a wildcard position so they won't be looking to trade anything.

It's doubtful that NJD will move Bahl just after acquiring him in the Hall deal. They are also looking for G prospects at this point.

The Detroit trade isn't bad.

The ZAR, Blueger, Tanev line has been really good. Why break them up to gain a few % points in the faceoff dots?
Why take Rust away from Malkin? They've been killing it...
Why would NJ trade a top defensive prospect that they just acquired?
Why overpay for Josh Anderson? Who has 4 points on the season & then put him in the top 6...and to lose a trade like that to a division rival frown

oye vey....

I don't think CBJ would passup a B prospect and a replacement for Anderson in Bjugstad straight up but I could be wrong. Seems like good value to me.
I know they're unlikely to trade Bahl I just want him lol

My bad I meant to put Anderson with Sid lol cause I agree Rust+Malkin should stick together they've been playing great!
I'm not opposed to keeping them together, I just don't really trust Blug in the dot especially come playoff time.. if anything make a Coleman-Glendening-Horny line.
(wanted Tanev-Coleman-Horny cause that line would be MAYHEM and difficult to play against)
NJ wont trade Bahl just more of a want for me I love his game especially if you could pair him and Addison together for the future
I love Andersons game and he plays the style PIT is playing, he could have a big bounce back on Sids wing and he's still young we could lock him up for the foreseeable future

I think Anderson is free agent after this season. It might be wiser to try and grab him in the offseason than to give up futures to a rival to get him for what could be only a couple months.

He is a treat to watch here in Ottawa (67's). He's big and mean.

I think You over paid a lot on all but I would really like that team.
- Like the Right handed Center P/u in Clendening too

I know we could get him in RFA but I fear they'll match unless we overpay drastically which we shouldn't.
I don't think having to play Bjug or Hallander is THAT big of a deal, idk, I just love his game and we definitely could use a player like him

IMO, u could get Clendening for just a 4th or 5th at deadline
- Anderson value is low rite now, I think Bjugstad & mid rd pick for Anderson & 7th rdr - (he has played worse than Chucky this season) 4points in 26 games
- Coleman is a type of player u may have to pry away from a team bc Im sure NJD value him a ton - So not sure there

The Jackets will not sell low on Anderson. You'd need to offer much better assets than that. It's probably not worth pursuing.

His replacement + 2nd round prospect isn't enough?

As a Detroit fan that trade is fine. What about swapping Bellerive for Pierre-Olivier and making it 1 for 1? Detroit needs D prospects more than forward prospects. I don't know how Pittsburgh values Pierre-Olivier I chose him because all of the Pittsburgh prospect rankings have I've seen him below Bellerive.

For that trade I think I'd rather give up Bellerive just because pens have plethora of young forwards RN and can't say the same for Defence

Bjugstad doesn't even come within the same neighborhood of an Anderson replacement. So no.

I mean Bjugstad has a higher career PPG with almost 200 more games... he's played in 10 games this year and almost matched Andersons production, plus you're getting a 2nd

That's nice. He doesn't replicate Anderson's skillset. Still no.
