What about AA and Svech OR AA and Smith for Deangelo? That being said I find it hard to believe NYR would even think about trading Deangelo.

I mean the STL one is clearly a standard rental deal. The Fast one is pretty standard too.

Trading a 70 pt pace RFA defenseman for Kase + might be the case of not getting enough for Tony the more i think about it.

The rest yes, def in Rangers favor. I think Strome is wildly inflated but for the contract he is gonna get, the RFA comp would be a 1st and 3rd. Dont think this is that far off. Bruins could use him as a rental and flip him after this season if they dont want him long term too, recoup some of the cost of acquiring him.

The Detroit deal probably needs the Rangers to add a bit more, but its a good starting point I think. Detroit is shopping him and he makes a ton of sense to me for NYR. And Georgiev obv makes a ton of sense to Detroit. Toronto is all over him, so maybe if Detroit gets involved it ups the return to a Johnsson or KK from Toronto.

First, why would you trade a young 70 point defenseman? seems like bad business to do that. I would try and move one of skjei, smith, staal (however you can) before moving deangelo.
Second, blues trade is whatever i dont think kreider is worth a 1st and a prospect. He might get it but there are other guys available that will cost less and yield similar production.
Third, Strome is the beneficiary of playing with panarin. As a bruins fan, sweeney would be crucified if he brought strome in for that package, side note Sweeney will not move his first rounder.
Fourth Georgiev isnt really that good. as a matter of fact, jonathan bernier is outplaying him albeit marginally but they dont have to give up a 2nd line center to get georgiev. This is all fan hype. Rangers should maximize a return if they are indeed willing to move him but theres guys that are similar in production that could be had for much much less.
