Lundestrom, Guhle and a second is steep but so is Dumbas value

I think I'd rather go after a lower cost option if at all possible

I remember in the 2012 draft I was so pissed we took Lindholm over Dumba tears of joy

Yeah I feel like it could work tho. Anaheim is loaded on centres including Henrique, Getzlaf, Steel, Lundestrom, Comtois, Terry and Zegras. While needing a RHD. And Minny needs a centre badly. You give them that package and solve your D issues, then you recover by taking a high skilled forward in the top 10 this draft,

Yeah thats a good point, I think I would rather move Terry than Lundestrom but that isnt super important.

Steel, Zegras and Comtois would hopefully not be moved.

I'd really want Deangelo if we're going after a high price trade target though

Yeah one the Rangers biggest needs is a 2C. I wonder if a Henrique for DeAngelo and Marc Staal works. Staal would make the salaries work and hed be there for 1 year

I would love that, I can't see a scenario where they hamstring DeAngelos value with a cap dump. I'd give the package above for Tony D though, even take Gudbranson out

I think the offer is too much and I'm not sure there are enough high-quality pieces for MIN to pull the trigger. I thinks MIN would want Steel +, otherwise there is no need to move Dumba. I don't know if I pull trigger on that one. Probably wait until after the draft to see what we get. Getting Byfield or Stutzle would make Steel somewhat expendable and Dumba would be a very good addition.

Pass on Marc Staal. He's not at all what we need. DeAngelo could make for a nice 3rd pairing PP specialist. He can't defend for **** though.
