My guess is he'll get 4 years, to match with Backstrom's 5, so they retire the same year. The AAV I would guess would be between 9.2-10 million. He was paid well throughout his career already, and won't look to gouge the Caps of money (not saying Backy did). He'd want the Caps to stay competitive in his twilight years, and knows in order to do that, he can't be eating up a huge amount of the cap. It'll be a slight hometown discount, I'd suspect, especially if he gets the term he wants.
