Yeah this is something I think most Leaf fans could get behind.

Im curious why Minni would do that? Even without retention, he is a top 4 defenseman. Bracco is a potential top nine forward and AJ is currently a top 9 forward. Barrie holds little value to Minny without an extension.

Dreger said Minny's trade bait list could include Dumba, why I did this.

Ok, imo, if toronto wants Dumba they will have to give up more, especially with retention

Bill Guerin isn't trading Dumba to the Leafs without Dubas sending Nylander the other way.

If we trade Dumba it won't be for something like this. My guess is the ask would be Nylander. Not saying the Leafs do it but I think that's the only way a Dumba trade gets done for the Leafs.

I'm pretty sure Bracco is considered top 6 potential across the league and would be in most teams lineup right now. Only reason he ain't with the leafs is due to all the right handed wingers already (Marner, Nylander, Kapanen)

Ok i dont view him as top six but i havent watched him play either. even if he has top 6 potential i dont believe that it changes my above comments that that package is still not enough for dumba, especially with the retention

Mini will likely not retain his contract for 4 more years, I'll agree with you there.

I agree here. Even if Minny went full rebuild and wanted a ton of prospects and picks it wouldn't make sense to get anything less than a really good forward back for him. Dumba is still young enough to survive a full on rebuild.
I know Dubas loves Nylander so I'm not sure they'd make the swap. My guess is he'd try to sell them on something involving Kapanen++ but the deal would fall through.

Yah he is really burning it up this year with 3 goals in the AHL, just like TSN said, guy cant score in that league and that is a real problem, it does not translate well to the NHL

This is an interesting offer, but essentially it is really Bracco and AJ for Dumba since Barrie is an expiring deal. It may make more sense to deal Barrie for a mid round pick to use in another trade for a defenceman...

He has literally been a playmaker his whole career, look at his assist totals.
