I think giving up Robertson for Coleman is a mistake.

Probably, but the Stars are trying to win now. Coleman has 19 goals, with none coming on the PP. He's also arguably the top penalty killer in the league and is tied for first with 3 SHG's.

I agree although Coleman is underrated from what I see. Quality bottom 6 guy but yeah I'd avoid trading Robertson if possible too.

I was unaware that he is signed for next year as well, not the worst idea but sending robertson is a tough pill to swallow.

My thought on the Robertson move is that he isn't necessarily tearing up the AHL. Yes, he is young, and has some growing to do. But your window is now, and Coleman is young and a proven asset that can bring some much needed scoring and penalty killing. Moving Robertson alone might get the deal done.

Agreed. The logic is there, im just very intrigued by Robertsons potential that i almost would rather slighty overpay in draft picks then move him. At least untill i know what i got in him first.
