Not that matters so much for this year, but DeAngelo and Georgiev to the Leafs might be a deal. Fill two holes and though the new look Nylander is playing well, the Leafs do have adequate replacements at RW.

Deangelo is not a 1RD defensively and Georgiev is going to want too much $$$ to be a suitable backup. Seems more like the round holes are filled with square pegs.

No one with any sort of hockey knowledge would ever consider this. Remember when Talbot was supposed to be the amazing backup that would become a starter? How did that turn out. Nope, Georgiev is not going to get half of what fans want.
