No, a winger thats good and a ufa to be dman. Not the kinda thing that gets Patrick kane. Is more offense really what you need

Don't know how this really makes the Leafs better this year...despite Kane's greatness when a starting RHD vanishes from the Leafs. The Leafs were cap strapped going into next season and now you just added 3.5m with Kane over Nylander.
Kane's MMC probably kills the deal anyway.

First of all Kane stops the trade. Secondly I would take nylander over Kane. Contract age and term are huge factors. Then Barrie in top of that? No thank you.

Why is leafs window now? Still waiting on D prospects to come in. Young core of stars.

Nylander is getting better while Kane will decline and cost nearly 4m more. Leafs have other priorities.

The 3rd youngest team in the league does not have a short window. The two things that more than half the people on this site seem to think with 100% certainty is that TO is way older than they are and way smaller than they are.

TO 3rd youngest and 4th heaviest team in the NHL. If you take Spezza out, they are probably the youngest.
