In just a few words: Demko is their future starter

you are basically asking for a promising winger starting to produce and find his game, a future starting goalie (with elite potential) and a steal of a second round pick (some lists had him in the 1st round) all for a decent top 6 winger, 1st rounder that didnt pan out and a career back up goalie. and it's in the name of a cap dump.

Virtanen + Hoglander = Zucker IMO (i think Virtanen alone would be enough but he hasn't shown enough consistency)
take out Demko, Brodin and Stalock we'll throw in DePietro and a pick for the LE cap dump

If you are referring to Brodin as the “ 1st rounder that didnt pan out” you clearly have no idea what kind of player he is!! Brodin is an absolute stud! He’s a one man breakout machine, an elite defender and on of the very best skaters in the world! AND, he is chipping in offensively with around 20 points. The ONLY reason I would consider trading him is because I believe the Wild are 3-5 years from actually mattering and Brodin will be 30-31 by then.

I am ok with the valuation of Virtanen+ Hoglander = Zucker, however I believe Wild get a better offer somewhere else, but if you want to dump LE you will have to give up more. Also Brodin is a long ways away from being a failed 1st.

got to apologize for that one... for some reason i thought Brodin was a forward... his stats make a lot more sense as a defenseman.

Just as an innocent bystander sticking in his unsolicited two cents, if you had Brodin, he would be the best defenseman on your team, I don't care what you're paying Tyler Myers.
